What is a Pick 3?
The Pick 3 requires selecting the winners of three consecutive races. It offers larger payouts than Daily Doubles while being more accessible than Pick 4s or Pick 6s.
Most tracks offer $0.50 minimum Pick 3 wagers. The smaller base bet allows you to spread across more horses without breaking the bank.
Strategy tip: Use more horses in races you're uncertain about and single (one horse) in races where you have a strong opinion.
