What is a Superfecta Box?
A superfecta box requires picking the first four finishers in any order. It's one of the hardest bets to hit but can pay massive returns, often in the thousands or even tens of thousands of dollars.
Most tracks offer $0.10 superfecta minimums to make the bet more accessible. Even at 10 cents, boxing 5 horses costs $12 (120 combinations × $0.10).
The superfecta is popular for big race days like the Kentucky Derby where large fields create opportunities for huge payouts when longshots hit the board.
